Empowering Women’s Health: Snehalaya & Partners Conduct Successful Medical Camp in Chikhalgaon

Today, 28th January 2025, a Women’s Health Checkup Camp was successfully held at Snehalaya’s Dr. Malpani Smriti Center in Kinhlawli, Chikhalgaon, Tal. Shahapur, Dist. Thane. The camp was organized by Snehalaya and Malpani Trust in collaboration with Asmi Group and Aadhar Rekha Pratishthan.

The camp offered various health checkups for women, including Mammography, PAP Smear, CBC, Gynaecological Examination, and General Check-ups, along with the free distribution of calcium and vitamin tablets. Women from 15 nearby villages participated, with 107 women attending the camp. Based on examination results, four women were identified as needing further treatment.

Special acknowledgment goes to the team from Aadhar Rekha Pratishthan, including Founder and Secretary Ms. Rashmi Joshi, Dr. Janhavi Gangale, Dr. Anagha Wadekar, activist Mahesh Phalke, Meghna Ogale, Swati Nazhar, Arpita Raut, as well as the Asmi Group’s founders Rupali Khardkar, Sheila Haldankar, Naina Desai, Manjiri Kulkarni, Sandhya Panchalila, Mansi Khekale, Sheela Wagle, and their entire team for their support in successfully conducting the camp.

A special mention was also made of Mr. Hari Ghodeswar, who went door-to-door to invite women from villages, ensuring their participation and safely dropping them back home after the camp. Community work thrives on mutual trust and effort, and this initiative showcased the power of collaboration in making the event successful.

Every team member played a crucial role, from organizing the camp to ensuring its smooth execution.
